ROSALIE ADUAYI DIOP

Rosalie Aduayi Diop is currently Professor and Director of Studies at the Population, Development and Reproductive Health Institute of the University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Université du Québec in Montréal, an institution with which she continues to collaborate. Pr. Diop possesses an extensive experience in research on questions pertaining to family transformation, adolescents and young people in condition of vulnerability, gender violence and reproductive health. She has published extensively on these topics. Over the years, she has trained an impressive number of NGO’s and civil society’s actors involved in issues relating to gender, violence, and migration, playing a key role in supporting education and human rights in Senegal.
