As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant to the Director.
Position: Assistant to the Direction
Under the direct supervision of: The Executive Director
Length: 2 years renewable (pending performance and funding) with 3 months’ probation period
Based in: NCCT Office in Tangier – Morocco (with availability to travels on missions if requested).
1. Executive Support
Provide administrative support to the Director.
Manage the Director’s schedule, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Act as a liaison between the Director and internal/external stakeholders.
Draft and edit communications, emails, and announcements on behalf of the
Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
3. Office Management
Oversee the daily operations of the Director’s office.
Organize and maintain records, files, and confidential information.
Manage travel arrangements and logistics for the Director.
4. Project Coordination
Collaborate with programs to ensure the Director’s initiatives are carried outeffectively.
Monitor project timelines and provide status updates to the Director.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of special projects.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Proficient in English and Arabic, with good command of French.Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting C-level executives.
Familiarity with peacebuilding and conflict transformation/resolution field
Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
