Dr Sharin Shajahan Naomi is a PostDoctoral fellow at KREA University in India. Her area of research is religion and anti-feminist backlash. She holds a PhD in Tibetan Buddhism, Feminism and Autoethnography from Murdoch University, Australia, as well as a Masters of Arts in Human Rights from the Centre for Human Rights Education at Curtin University. She completed her Bachelor of Law from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr Naomi has more than ten years of research experience in the fields of human rights, law and gender. She also has five years
of teaching experience in feminism and autoethnography at Asian University for Women. Forbes China featured a story on her teaching on Ecofeminism. Dr Naomi is a recipient of the Cornel Climate Online Fellowship, the DHS Fellowship by USAID in 2019 and Australian Leadership Award 2010.
