Omar Kaissi is a Teaching Fellow in Education at Moray House School of Education and Sport, The University of Edinburgh. He holds a PhD in Education from the University of Manchester. His research focuses on both UK and Lebanon. His teaching and research expertise and interests include the sociology of education (with a focus on gender and education), the politics of education (with a focus on identities), critical education policy studies and qualitative methodologies and methods (with a focus on critical realism).
