Wasim Khan

Wasim Khan is a senior international finance and governance executive with more than two decades of leadership experience across major global organizations working in complex and fragile environments. His career includes overseeing multi-million-dollar financial portfolios, strengthening institutional accountability, and leading strategic reforms in over 10 countries across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

He has served in high-level financial leadership roles with renowned international institutions such as the AIDS Vaccine Initiative, African Development Solution, the International Rescue Committee, International Medical Corps, and Plan International. His work has spanned Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Georgia, and Pakistan, where he helped build resilient financial systems and operational structures in crisis-affected settings.

Wasim currently serves as Vice President of Finance at Search for Common Ground, where he provides senior strategic oversight of global financial management, compliance, and organizational risk.

He holds an MBA from St. Peter's University in New Jersey and a Non-Profit Management Certification from New York University. He is recognized for his ability to navigate diverse cultural environments and guide institutions through complex governance challenges.

With his extensive global experience, strong academic background, and proven leadership at the highest levels of international non-profits, Wasim Khan brings invaluable strategic insight to the NCCT Board of Advisors, strengthening NCCT's mission to promote accountable, innovative, and sustainable conflict transformation and peacebuilding.
